Student Attendance

Absences should be avoided but if necessary, please contact your teacher through email and Attendance Clerk with the report an absence button on our home page. Please include your student's name, grade, Id number, and a reason for absence.

Attendance is critical for academic success. It is necessary to attend and be on time for all scheduled classes and teacher appointments (for independent study).  Be sure to contact your supervising teacher for a missed independent study appointment to arrange for homework drop-off. Independent study work is still due regardless of the absence. Missing work and class time may need to be made up on a different day and time. Excessive class absences and missed teacher appointments have a grave effect on student learning and will incur interventions. Students not making progress or failing coursework may be switched to another program at our site, or sent back to their school of residence at the discretion of administration.
